Tech Wash
A wash-in cleaner for waterproof clothing and equipment. It safely revitalises breathability and water-repellency. A non-detergent soap which can be used regularly to clean clothing and equipment without damaging the Durable Water Repellent (DWR) coatings. Use Tech Wash instead of detergents or washing powder which leave behind water-attracting residues.
TX.Direct
A wash-in waterproofing for wet weather clothing. It adds water-repellency and revives breathability to fabrics without wicking liners. It doesn't require heat activation to work so saving energy.
Machine washable
Regular cleaning and reproofing with Tech Wash and TX.Direct improves performance allowing your gear to work better for longer. Both products are very easy to use in the washing machine or by hand.
Refresh your sleeping bag. After living in a stuff sack for months your sleeping bag needs bringing back to life. Depending on the sleeping bag filling, either Nikwax Tech Wash or Down Wash Direct will do the trick.
For the inevitable downpour make sure your waterproof jacket has been cleaned and re-proofed to keep you dry. Tech Wash and TX.Direct are your go-to products. Both can be used in the washing machine and there’s no need to wait for the jacket to dry in between treatments.
