The Vango Apex 1 sleeping bag is part of our Apex Range and has been designed with high-performance lightweight adventures in mind. The Apex Sleeping bag has been created with our latest innovative environmentally friendly fabrics, Polair® EcoNet Lining made from recycled fishing nets and EcoLoft® insulation, a recycled synthetic, engineered to imitate the characteristics of real down filling. This Omega shaped bag has been ergonomically tailored around the head and shoulders to retain heat and its unique Thermal Reverb causes heat to reflect back onto the body making this bag the very pinnacle of thermal efficiency.

  • EcoLoft Insulation – Our EcoLoft insulation is a recycled synthetic which has been engineered to imitate the characteristics of real down filling, which has a high loft and dries fast
  • Multi-Directional Baffle Construction - Using thermal-reverb reflective interlining, vertical direction baffles across the chest to increase warmth and horizontal baffles across the feet to maintain an even distribution of insulation around your body’s lower half.
  • Thermal Reverb - Aluminimised layer reflects heat back to the user to increase warmth
  • Insulated Adjustable Ergonomic Shoulder Baffle – Ergonomically shaped to fit around your shoulders to ensure you retain heat within the sleeping bag
  • Temperature Ratings Independently Measured - In accordance with EN 23537-1:2022. Extensively tested to meet accurate temperature rating standards for peace of mind
  • Zip Guard with Anti-Catch Piping - Helps to prevent the zip from snagging on the lining, allowing easy opening and closing
  • Two-Way Auto-Lock Zip - Seals in warmth and provides adjustable ventilation and the auto-lock prevents the bag from opening during the night and can be accessed from inside the bag
  • Omega Shaping - Engineered to position zips and seams in the lower section of the bag. Ergonomically shaped to fit around head and shoulders for improved heat retention
